The Boston-bred beatsmith was back with another solid addition to his catalogue of successful feature-heavy albums. Statik served up a plethora of boom-bap laden tracks for a deep guest list of rap heavyweights. With appearances by everyone from former full length collaborative album partners Action Bronson (Well Done) and Termanology (1982/2012) to Prodigy, Raekwon, and Styles P, he clearly gets a great deal of respect from his industry peers, no matter if they’re newcomers or the veterans. Make sure you pay your respects too, and give this album a well-deserved extended play.
