The King Wizard didn’t hold back on any creative front when creating this one. Producing nearly 99% of it and having features like Michael Bolton and Haim, Kid Cudi put out his “version of The Chronic 2001” to a world of confused and excited fans. And it delivered, sonically and conceptually. The album was an honest representation of the maturation of Cudi’s space age sound and middle finger to the world attitude. It had us scratching our heads at what MOTM 3 might sound like.
