While some might say it’s only during the regular season, it’s no secret that Denver Broncos QB, Peyton Manning, is one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever put on an NFL uniform. Not only is he one of the top quarterbacks in the game, but he’s obviously one of the most respected players in the league.
As part of ESPN’s NFL Nation Confidential survey of more than 320 players, the questions were asked, “If you had to start a team with one player, whom would it be?” and “Which player do you respect the most?” Manning was the top choice for both. He was the leading vote-getter as first pick to start a team, with 62 votes (19%). He beat out Tom Brady, Adrian Peterson, Calvin Johnson, Drew Brees, London Fletcher and Aaron Rodgers
