Jay Rock Was First
Although it’s commonly thought otherwise, and currently incorrectly stated on Wikipedia Jay Rock was in fact the first artist signed to TDE. In a 2013 interview with Rap Radar Punch explained that Kendrick came around about a month after Jay Rock first got down.
