Car bombings and clashes led to the deaths of at least 30 people in Iraq on Saturday.
Most of the violence occurred around Baghdad and the northern city of Kirkirk. Violence has escalated in Iraq over the past year, but in particular over the past month after the government dismantled an anti-government protest camp and arrested Sunni leaders.
