Grammys, The Souce Man of the year cover, and The Heist reaching 13 million and counting in sales has not stopped Macklemore & Ryan Lewis from staying true to their humble start.
Anyone that rides public transportation in New York knows the borage of patrons, up and coming every things, and sometimes the occasional weirdo that hover around waiting for everyone to settle so they can begin their performance. More often then not, people carry on or try to avoid them and their collection cups at all cost.
When the duo took over a Bronx bus, this was far from the case. Both artists began an impromptu performance of their hit single “Can’t Hold Us” which is still in heavy rotation on the radios. Armed with a boom box, Macklemore’s vocals and bars, and a series of hidden cameras the performance broke an audience of abut 30 out of their mundane routines and gave them something to clap about.
