Last week’s episode of Being Mary Jane, Andre proposes to Mary Jane but she never gives him an answer. Andre discovers that his wife, Avery, filed for post-nup in which she gets half of everything and is taking the kids and he informs her that there is no way she is taking the kids. Mary Jane reveals to her friends that she has David’s sperm in her freezer. Avery and Andre are having an argument about what he does and as they argue they starting making love.
This week, Mary Jane is caught by her brother missing around with Andre and he is aware that Andre is married. She is once again conflicted about her feelings for Andre and doesn’t give him an answer to his marriage proposal.
Patrick celebrates his two year anniversary of being sober and MJ spends time with him. They go to their Aunt Toni’s house and reminisce about the good times they had growing up.
Acknowledging that she has an addiction to Andre, Patrick and MJ make a promise that if they relapse they have to call each other not to slip up.
A former business partner declines further partnership with Patrick about a new project. But in the end, not taking the news so well, Patrick relapses back on drugs and Mary Jane continues to sleep with Andre.
