1. Jay Z & Alicia Keys – “Empire State Of Mind”

If you’re from NY, this is the ultimate anthem for you! Jay Z & Alicia added their touch to the classic Frank Sinatra song” New York .” The song was also nominated for three Grammy Awards and it ended up winning Best Rap Song and Best Rap/Sung Collaboration. The single was heard on the hit tv show, Gossip Girl and became the pivot collaboration of Keys’ career. What a great way to celebrate your birthday listening to this song and where you’re from. The song is off Jay Z’s album, Blueprint III.
