Super Bowl XLVIII‘s anticipated half time show was sure to be spectacular, with last year’s performance by Beyoncé and the big power outage, no one knew what to expect this year. The act immediately dominated your attention; it was like the heavens parted and little angels sang down from the middle of the spectacular stage before Bruno Mars came out, playing the drums.
As a hyperactive crowd cheers him on, he delivers tons of energy on the drums that move him over to the main stage. Dominating the crowd with his stage presence he moved something similar to a young Elvis or Prince. The crowd jumped, screamed and sang along with Bruno and the band who came out in gold metallic blazers by Saint Laurent and white button ups with black slim ties.
For having to follow up after Beyoncé performed at last years Super Bowl performance Bruno really brought his A game.
An old school rock and roll vibe and uptempo melodies that were paired with Bruno’s confidence and mass appeal really kept the crowd pumped. He performed his popular hits “Locked Out of Heaven” and “Treasure” as the whole stadium lit up. Check out more photos and the video after the jump.
