Out of all the releases, planned and unplanned, that dropped today, this one tops the list for me. The ever sonically adventurous Theophilus London gifts a six track EP to his fans and LVRS all around the world with a follow up to his 2011 project, Lovers Holiday. With one foot in the Disco era and another in what seems like, great Pop music three years constantly ahead of present day, London worked with Dev Hynes, Leon Ware, Brodinski, Cid Rim, and Dimensions to create something that can only be classified as universally body moving.
Besides “Take A Look,” Lovers Holiday II includes a preview of the upcoming track London worked on with Kanye called “Do Girls.” That single will live on London’s LP later this year.
