When the San Antonio Spurs signed Marco Belinelli in the offseason, that transaction wasn’t met with much fanfare but Belinelli is definitely making his presence felt in the Alamo City so much so that the Italian was selected to participate in the 3-point contest.
In an event where Golden State’s Stephen Curry was the runaway favorite, Belinelli shook off a rocky start after launching a few air balls, ultimately pulling through to defeat Washington Wizards shooting guard, Bradley Beal, in the final round.
