The 20 year old inaugural OVO signee, PARTYNEXTDOOR, had a whirlwind of a 2013, releasing his critically acclaimed self-titled album and making numerous contributions to Drake‘s platinum-selling Nothing Was The Same album in a span of 3 months, and his run of releasing well-received music hasn’t quite slowed up.
After the release of his album, three more loose songs, “Candy”, “Muse” and “I Dont'”, surfaced on the internet, and shortly after Valentine’s Day, PND is back with a new song, the sensual, slow-tempo “Persian Rug”. Get used to the OVO sound, it’ll most likely be kind to our speakers on 2014.
