One year later, as Oscar Pistorius reflects on Reeva Steenkamp’s death
Former Olympian, Oscar Pistorius, reflects on the death of his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp, a year later after he was accused of accidentally shooting her. He spent his Valentine’s Day, mourning her death a day that he normally spends with her as he pampered & catered to her.
He finally spoke out after he was accused of shooting his girlfriend last year and the South African Olympian finally spoke out about her death on her anniversary.
Here is what he said about her death on his website on the anniversary:
“No words can adequately capture my feelings about the devastating accident that has caused such heartache for everyone who truly loved — and continues to love Reeva, The pain and sadness – especially for Reeva’s parents, family and friends consumes me with sorrow. “The loss of Reeva and the complete trauma of that day, I will carry with me for the rest of my life,”
The South African star is due back in court on March 3rd for premeditated murder. We send our condolences to the Steenkamp family.
