Lil Boosie’s artist and blood cousin, Donkey, says Boosie will be home soon…
The rumors surrounding rapper Lil Boosie’s release continue to swirl, with no sign of Boosie in sight.
Recent reports allege that Boosie would be out on February 13th, just in time for Valentine’s Day.
However, he remained incarcerated.
Although the Baton Rouge native was found “not guilty” on murder charges, he faced a slew of other charges that kept him behind bars, with one prospective release date being cited as August 18, 2014.
Earlier today, Boosie’s artist and blood cousin Donkey stated that he was able to confirm Boosie’s release date as March 5th.
Anticipating the “Zoom” rapper’s return home, Donkey and BET featured artist The Wave shot a video called “Not Mine/Free Boosie” that was just dropped in lieu of Boosie’s impending release.
The video was shot in Baton Rouge outside of Boosie’s childhood home. The video also features Boosie’s family members.
The Wave’s “Million Dollar Day” is slated for a March 2014 release.
