New episodes of Scandal are right round the corner but it looks like the series has some stiff competition.
This past weekend, “binge watching” was at an all-time high and guess what everyone was tuning in to? If you guessed House of Cards, you hit the nail right on the head.
According to Yahoo Finance, over 5 million Americans watched at least one episode of Netflix’s House of Cards, Season 2. Of those viewers, over 1 million watched at least five episodes over the weekend.
Based on the novel by Michael Dobbs, House of Cards is a political drama starring Kevin Spacey and David Fincher.
Netflix is making quite the name for itself with its second win as its new series joins the growing popularity of Orange is the New Black.
Looks like Netflix is shifting gears and stepping out of the distribution network box.
