Common holds down the third single from the Catch The Throne mix-tape with the release of “Ladder.” Common sticks to his blueprint by dropping food for thought with lines like “Change is the only thing guaranteed/I ain’t afraid of the Ox/because I know they bleed just like us/In the seven kingdoms ain’t nobody righteous.”
The song’s only downfall is that last just over two minutes, which leaves fans wanting more of Common’s insightful raps.
Catch The Throne, which will drop March 11, will be used as a promotional tool for the HBO series Game of Thrones, which will debut April 6.
