Converse held a special panel event yesterday afternoon at their Converse Rubber Tracks location in Brooklyn New York to celebrate the release of their next innovative track from the Three Artists. One Song series, which is celebrated every year by the American life style company.

This year’s Three Artists. One Song featured the legendary musicians, Mick Jones and Paul Simonon from The Clash, Odd Future’s R&B crooner Frank Ocean and Mad Decent ‘s head honcho, Diplo. The song is entitled “Hero”and is available to music fans globally for free download starting March 10 on conversemusic.tumblr.com.

The panel was hosted by MTV/Sirius XM host, Sway Calloway and featured the presence of Diplo, Mick Jones and Paul Simonon. Frank Ocean was not in attendance due to his hectic work schedule, but we did get to learn the process behind creating the record the guest speakers

“Hero” was recorded partly at Studio 13 in London, England and remotely on the road in Hawaii and Los Angeles. The final result of this collaboration is a very outstanding body of work that you should be on the lookout for on March 10.
