The olive branch of Mastermind gets a video
Rick Ross & Jeezy infamously called it quits on their beef about a month ago, when Ross announced that the Mike Will Made It-produced “War Ready” would make the final tracklist to Ross’ latest album Mastermind. After a massive amount of promotion, including teasers, trailers, and tweets, Rick Ross finally releases the video to his big single, “War Ready”, which also features MMG’s newest signee, Tracy T, in addition to Jeezy’s beef-ending appearance.
Mastermind is expected to sell between 140,000 & 160,000 copies, which will certainly secure the #1 on spot on Billboard next week when the numbers are released. It will be Ross’ 5th #1 album. Ironically, Teflon Don, widely regarded as Ross’ best LP, was the only one of his six albums not to debut at #1.
