A day before President Obama showed “hey look I have a pretty good sense of humor” his quiet arch nemesis Edward Snowden – the man who last summer exposed massive breaches of American rights made by the N.S.A- spoke via video conference at this years South by Southwest Music, Film & Interactive Conference and Festival.

Snowden hasn’t spoke since January when he gave comments to The New Yorker via encrypted message refuting accusations that he is some sort of Russian spy, brought up because he is living in and has been granted temporary asylum in Russia where he last spoke out publicly in 2013.

During yesterday’s ACLU sponsored, roughly hour long conversation, Snowden, with a green screen projection of the US Constitution behind him not only gave a speech but answered questions from twitter.

People were able to get the attention of the conference’s organizers using the hashtag #AskSnowden.  The majority of question’s he answered were somewhat generic and in the opinon of NPR ” he faced no tuff questions” .

He reaffirmed that given the opportunity he would do it all over again, he briefly spoke on how he perceived the US mishandled the Boston Marathon & Underwear bomber situations, and even mentioned how TOR browser’s can help you secure your data from a basic level.
