Diplomats’ member has his last interview before he heads upstate.

Rapper, JR Writer had to turn himself into jail today on a crime he says he didn’t commit, but before he did that, yesterday the Harlem emcee decided to chop it up with Peter Rosenberg on Real Late. Though he wouldn’t speak on exactly what went down, Writer did touch on the fact that his former affiliates Cam’ron & Jim Jones have not reached out to him in his time of need. You can almost see the hurt in his eyes from the betrayal, but the homie kept his head up as he talked about other topics, including how he got his name and how he started out in the rap game.

To give his fans something to vibe to while he’s away, JR- formerly Jack the Ripper- released Writer’s Block 6: Extended Clip today. The latest installment to the Writer’s Block series is a 13-track collective featuring artists Cassidy, Fred Money & Papoose, with an intro he wrote just hours before he started his bid. I’m not with the whole “Free ___” movement, but if he’s going away for something he claims he didn’t do, hopefully Writer is released sooner than later.
