The Butler Bulldogs. The Wichita State Shockers. The Lehigh Mountain Hawks. These teams have made history in the NCAA Tournament over the last few years and achieved the unthinkable. The entire college basketball world had them going down, and the only people that believed they could get it done were the people in their locker rooms.
The round of 64 puts the 1 seeds vs the 16 seeds, the 2’s vs the 15’s, the 3’s vs the 14’s and so on. They don’t usually happen, but they are possible. It takes heart, commitment, determination, and a little bit of crazy confidence to get it done as an underdog in the first weekend of March Madness.
These Cinderellas are putting their dancing shoes on. They are flying under the radar in the deep field of 68 and the top teams better watch out. They have proven that they have what it takes all year, but can they make history on the biggest stage?
