MMG’s DJ Scream has started a series of interviewing artists to give you a better idea of what makes them hungry to put in work everyday. And today we get a closer look at our once Mic Check feature and one of his label’s own, Fat Trel. It starts off serious but by the end we get a lighter side of Trel as he quotes Drake’s “We Made It” and shines his chains for the camera.
Fat Trel speaks on being the youngest of three boys to a single mother, waking up to dead bodies outside of his building more than he would’ve liked, the growth from looking up to DJ Scream to working with him, and how his daughter motivates him to chase after his dreams.
