A search on Google for the word “twerk” links to millions of videos with women shaking their derriere. It seems that everybody is putting their best twerk forward.
But are they getting paid for shaking what their momma gave em?
E-Jay and J.Smiles of the rap duo, Block Brothas is looking to put their money where their mouth is.

Fresh off of their debut single, Dope, the Block Brothas are venturing out to discover the most creative and dynamic twerk. Beginning today, if you’re a woman that’s 18 years of age or older, you can earn the chance to win $1,000 in cash by posting a 15 second video clip via Instagram and YouTube while twerking to the Block Brothas new single, Dope.
Make sure that you tag @BlockBrothas #twerkfordope and #BBNation in your posts via IG and YouTube. “We’re really looking for the most creative and dynamic,” E-Jay told The Source by phone.“It’s a chance to have some fun and chance to dance to the hottest record that’s out right now.”

The winner of the twerking contest will be selected on April 14, 2014 at 1:30 PM ET by the Block Brothas. The twerking champion will be selected based on both the video’s creativity and reposts. “We want you to stand out and get outside of your comfort zone,” J.Smiles told The Source.
