The Source drops by the MLB Cave to talk with Sway and Chris Distefano about their new MTV series, “Off The Bat”
There have been many shows that have tried meshing together two distinct but similar worlds in pop culture and sports. To be frank, many shows have failed but it seems MTV may have found the right formula for this to work.
Airing tonight at 11 pm on MTV2, the new hit-show “Off the Bat” takes a pitch into our television sets and infuses America’s favorite pastime with pop culture.
What do you get, you ask?
You get a vibrant show that will go beyond the diamond and give you a closer look at your favorite MLB stars. Hosted by, Sway, Fat Joe, Chris Distefano and the beautiful, Melanie Iglesias, the show takes aim at the life of these stars after the camera stops rolling.
It’s safe to say, MTV struck gold when they developed this show and it’s truly a breath of fresh air for all MLB enthusiasts everywhere.
