Your favorite Kaws’ figures have gone global.

If you just so happen to be in Spain in the next few months, one of the first places you should visit is the Centro de Arte Contemporáneo de Málagas (CAC Malaga), where well-known artist, KAWS is exhibiting his latest show, entitled Final Days. His previous shows in the United States drew much success with his popular Mickey Mouse inspired character Companion and he continues on overseas with his first ever solo museum show outside the states.

Curated by Fernando Francés, his characters Companion, Pinocchio & Kurf are on full display in massive detail at the Spanish museum, with all five dark wooden figures standing as tall as 19 feet. This is the first time Kurf- KAWS’ version of a Smurf- has been made into a statue, easily becoming the focal point of the show.  The internationally known, Brooklyn-based sculptor has his “Final Days” exhibit on display at the art center from March 28th until June 22nd and to see his work in person is a truly amazing sight. See more information on the museum’s site here and check out all of KAWS’ statues after the jump.
