Don’t get crossed up in some bad stuff, especially if Girl Talk and Freeway are involved. As strange as that might seem—seeing how one was famous for his mash up talents and the other was a street rapper famed for his years at Roc-A-Fella—the two have come together to bring forth a full project, entitled Broken Ankles. When listening to the final product, it is immediately clear that these two have more in common than meets the eye. Girl Talk’s fast paced, anxious production complements Freeway’s rugged, grimey rhymes.
The EP is only six songs long, but has some serious firepower. Including features from Waka Flocka Flame, Young Chris, and Jadakiss this tape has something for everyone…into the darker, shadier side of life. You can stream the entire project above.
