Only a few days removed from her showstopping performance at Coachella, with the help of her friends Childish Gambino and Drake, Jhene Aiko is back with a brand new video. “Comfort Inn Ending (Freestyle)” documents many of her personal downfalls in relationships and mistakes that she has made in the past. No I.D. took the reigns for the production, offering a dark guitar driven back drop that encompasses the message of Aiko’s lyrics.
Topshelf Jr. directs the video, which finds the singer confronting a number of her peers or enemies. It is an interesting take on the song, switching between moments of intense explosive actions and timid, introspective scenes. You can check out the video below to see it in all its glory.
