2 Chainz‘ latest album, Based On A T.R.U. Story II: Me Time, was released this past September, but the Atlanta native is already back to work. He recently announced his third solo album Based On A T.R.U. Story III, but he’s not waiting until its completed to give out new music to his fans. He just announced a new EP that will be released on May 5th called Freebase, for which a trailer was also made which you can watch below.

A few weeks ago, Chainz’ put out a single, “A-Rod”, with French Montana, and the video for the single was shot in the Bronx and released on the same day as the single. Hopefully that song makes the EP, along with other dope joints from the Real University president.
