TMZ is reporting that Christ Bearer, a member of the west coast based rap group Northstar which has been heavily affiliated with The Wu Tang Clan for most of its existence, cut his penis off and jumped off a second story balcony in North Hollywood. Police rushed to the scene to find the embattled rapper lying on the sidewalk critically injured.

Friends of Bearer who also live in the building say that to their knowledge, Bearer wasn’t on any hard drugs that would force him to want to take his own life.
According to Bearer–whose real name is Andre Johnson–via his Facebook account, he was discovered and signed by The RZA in 1998.
