Our favorite hip hop power couple is taking their show on the road
Page Six, the entertainment fueled New York Post column is reporting that everyone’s favorite power couple Jay Z and Beyonce, better known as The Carters, will be embarking on a joint summer tour. The tour is allegedly a 20-city, 20 stadium U.S. tour that would start in June, and will include a New York show on Independence Day (July 4).
The exciting news comes just as both Jay & Bey finish up their respective solo tours, The Magna Carta Tour and The Mrs. Carter Tour, respectively. The dynamic duo also invaded Coachella this past weekend.
Their steamy Grammy Awards performance of “Drunk In Love” became the topic of conversation and controversy for weeks after the show, dubbed “the biggest night in music”, aired, but we don’t think anyone’s complaining about the prospect of having that performed 20 more times before the year is over.
