Reportedly Gwen Stefani will be replacing the pregnant Christina Aguuilera over at the Judges’ table on The Voice. NBC has already chosen Pharrell Williams to replace CeeLo Green, looks like the lead singer is next to be on the show’s season 7 that starts tapping in June.
Producers started looking for new blood in February after Christina announced she was pregnant. NBC wanted Christina to stay during her pregnancy but she’s having a difficult time already and ultimately bowed out.
Gwen and Pharrell already seem to be getting along having performed “Hollaback Girl” together at Coachella last week. Either way it makes sense to pick her, considering that she has previously mentored on American Idol. Her deal is for one season right now. According to sources Christina has already signed on to rotate back into her spinning chair for Season 8.
