When Lily Allen announced that her upcoming album would be called Sheezus, she stirred up a lot of conversation within the hip-hop community especially with the recent release of Kanye West’s Yeezus. Now with the album less than a month away, Lily drops the video for the albums title track with a dark yet, empowering message about the change in the music game and the rise of musical feminism (very Her Source if i do say so myself).
“Sheezus” is totally different than anything you’ve ever heard from the english songbird and to prove that, she went all out with a super creative video to assist with the DJ Dahi production.
Sheezus the album is available now for preorder on iTunes, you can catch it in stores May 6th.
