Gearing up to drop the final video from his Jean Baptiste album, Chicago lyricist The Boy Illinois returns spitting bars on his Dress Accordingly. Produced by Nez and Rio, Illi freestyles over Schoolboy Q’s hit “Man of The Year.”
Jean Baptiste, The Boy Illinois’ 10-track project, paid tribute to his Haitian roots and Jean Baptiste du Sable, a Haitian who was noted as the first permanent resident of Chicago. Illi is enjoying the buzz of the project and is currently working on videos for the tracks “She Like Cool” and “Jean Baptiste.”
