Jay Z & Beyonce might turn the summer on its head
This isn’t the first time news concerning Jay Z or Beyonce going on tour has the entire entertainment world spinning around looking for answers. Last summer, after the immense success of Justin Timberlake‘s comeback single, “Suit & Tie”, JT & Jay Z–who was featured on the song–went on the Legends Of The Summer tour, which sold out arenas nationwide, and Beyonce just finished up one of the most demanding and successful tours we’ve seen not just from her, but in music period.
This summer, it appears the two are joining forces and going on tour together. After an ambiguous report from Page Six, the entertainment and gossip column of The New York Post, claimed Bey and Jay appeared to be planning a summer tour, two dates for them to perform together at arenas have been confirmed. Yesterday, news broke that a date for the “Drunk In Love” partners in crime to perform at the storied Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California had been confirmed, and today, a July 11th date has been locked in for the Carters to perform at Metlife Stadium in New Jersey–which was, incidentally, the site of the last Superbowl–according to a report from You Heard That New.
This summer could be very scary for anyone else going on tour.
