Can’t keep up with King James on the court…there’s an app for that! On Thursday, Samsung launched a new app, “LeBron” exclusively available to Samsung Galaxy owners. The app is available to Galaxy S3, Galaxy S4, Galaxy S5, Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy Note 3 users and offers fans an inside look into the NBA powerhouse’s life during his NBA playoffs journey. The app is split into four sections: Athlete, NBA Playoffs, Style, and Journey. Each section provides some insight into a part of James’ life both on and off the court.
Athlete – Includes videos and photos of LeBron as he prepares for games as well as post-game footage.
NBA Playoffs– Season and career stats, real-time updates and scores from Heat games during the playoffs.
Style – Photos and videos of LeBron’s kicks, clothes and food choices. And who doesn’t love a great food picture?
Journey – Photos and updates that focus on LeBron’s family life as well as charity work.
The app also includes moving wallpaper and a LeBron lock screen that syncs to the NBA Game Time app and offers real-time score information from Miami Heat games. The app also provides access to a radio station that plays LeBron’s favorite songs. A Samsung rep told Mashable that LeBron basically goes on a social media hiatus during the playoffs. “The LeBron app will be one of the only places fans can get updates directly from LeBron,” the rep said.
