Nike celebrates one of the best players in the league.
The Nike Basketball Elite Series Hero Collection is celebrating three of the best, Kobe, LeBron & Durant. The three players have held superhero-like qualities on the court this season, so it’s only fair that they have shoes to represent that. As we await Game 7 tonight as the OKC Thunder takes on the Memphis Grizzlies, let’s take a look at Durant’s super-fly kicks, the Nike KD VI Elite “Hero.”
KD’s sneakers are definitely the standout pair in this collection, as Nike made sure they were not only bold in color but maximize strength & breathability. For the first time ever on his signature shoe, we get a visible Nike Zoom across the midsole. Then moving up, you get a crazy mix of neon colors on the Flywire upper, with the focus being the Turbo Green. The Vivid Pink & Nightshade hints on the kicks give them an extra pop- the asymmetrical tongue is a unique bonus.
