Happy Star Wars Day!
Today, Vault By Vans released a new Star Wars capsule collection! In honor of the official Star Wars fan holiday (May 4th), this collection pays homage to a movie phenomenon that have become a way of life for many. This collection consists of an OG Sk8-Hi LX, OG Era LX blend,OG Classic Slip-on LX, and an OG Half Cab LX with high end materialization. The OG Sk8-Hi LX and Classic Slip-On LX both have a vibrant Vans Miami print from the ’80s that incorporates the silhouette of the infamous four-legged walkers (AT-AT Walkers) and a combat vehicle deployed by Imperial ground forces trekking across the planet Hoth.
The OG Sk8-Hi and Era LX blends Vans heritage pirate skull and bones print into a pattern that features Darth Vader and Storm Trooper with crossing pirate swords and light sabers. When it comes to the Half-Cab, skate legend Steve Caballero allowed his iconic logo to become a scene of an epic battle against good and evil. The Half Cab sneakers are both constructed out of premium leather and suede and they come in black and turtle dove.
These limited edition sneakers (300 of each style) are available at Vans DQM locations in NYC and Boston and also on the Vans DQM website. Additional retailers that sell this collection are Opening Ceremony (Los Angeles, London, New York and Ace Hotel New York), Firmament (Berlin), Colette (Paris), Off The Hook (Montreal) and Tresbien (Sweden). The sneakers range in price from $80 to $140 USD.
