It’s not everyday that you get to hear a summer smash from a Canadian artist whose name isn’t Drake. But change is good. Today we present the premiere of Jerzee Tha Icon‘s video for “Give You More.” The Billboard Canadian Hot 100 Artist has set out to achieve what seems like an impossible goal of stealing the summer from Pharrell, but with G I R L reaching the end of its promo run and the support from the right DJs, Jerzee has a solid chance. He nabs Jon Pooley for the hook on his uptempo single that will have older and younger generations grooving side to side. The FameCity emcee utilizes an arsenal of flows that only promotes rapid hip, arm, and leg movements, regardless of how uncoordinated they turn out.
The video was shot in LA and Vancouver in an impressive 14 hours so basically no video editing intern can complain about turning around a quality project in a short amount of time. Even though it’s only Tuesday, I won’t tell anyone if you celebrate tonight like it’s Friday. Word is bond.
