Yikes.
Jay Z‘s affiliation with The Brooklyn Nets has always been a topic of discussion–especially for him–but with the new twist that is Solange Knowles, the conversation has switched to a much more comedic narrative, at least for now.
There’s no point in going over (once again) the events of Monday, which showcased the events of the now infamous elevator post-Met Gala, which has literally sent the entire nation–and its pop culture–into a frenzy. Last night, after The Brooklyn Nets–who seemed to be a sure lock for at least a Game 6, especially considering the game Joe Johnson was having–surrendered a double digit 4th quarter lead and lost Game 5, which eliminated them from playoff contention, the Inside The NBA crew had a little fun, merging both situations.
Every year, after an NBA team is eliminated from playoff contention, the crew features them in their “Gone Fishin'” segment, poking fun at the fact that a certain team’s season is over, and they’ll be taking part in a myriad of off-season activities like golf, or fishing. Last night, after The Nets went packing, Inside The NBA sent Jay Z & Solange with them.
