Uzo Aduba plays Suzanne ‘Crazy Eyes’ Warren.

What can we expect from your character this season?

We can expect to see Suzanne back again which is exciting. And we can definitely expect the characters to just get deeper, deeper, deeper, and if I could put it in a single word relationships is a big thing watching that and the world of the prison, now that we’re all settled into it – that world – it’s really exciting.

Where is your character emotionally?

Suzanne is a passionate person and she lives her life out loud. So everything about her is passion, passion, passion.

Will we learn more about her back story?

Yes we do have one for her so it will be interesting to see how the audience gets to view that.

Lori Petty has a guest starring role this season.

Tell us about your character.

I of course am in prison. You know I do bad things but I’m nice about it. I’m kind of like a good bad guy.

Were you a fan of the show before you signed on?

I was a huge fan, I am a huge fan! That’s why I’m on the show I called them up. I said “Hello, it’s Lori Petty,” they were like “yes” I’m like, “I want to be on your show” they were like “Really?” I’m like “yes!”

Did they create the part for you?

No, they did not create the part for me. There was a part that I auditioned for.

What do you love about the script?

I love the fact that it’s a show full of beautiful women whose only job is not to prove that the leading men aren’t gay. So there are women who actually get to work, you know just actually work for a living.
