Whether you’re snapping your fingers to hot tunes on the way to school with friends, gyrating hips to salsa music played at the club, or the illest beats taking over your Beats By Dre headphones before a huge basketball game, music is the universal language that unites people from all walks of life.
An independent label, VIP Music, an independent record company has acquired a wealth of artists from the hip hop, r&b and pop genre. The new kids on the block,VIP Music has only been in existence for two years. A big draw to the company is that they don’t house exclusive bookings, they offer distribution deals and management services.
VIP’s mission is to provide a platform to aspiring artists to grow organically and they have provided the latest technology and resources available. They’re growing with their artists and according to VIP’s CEO Fabrizio Moreira, VIP has been accepting demos from artists who can match their label expectations. A former president of the Chamber of Young Entrepreneurs, Moreira is excited in the potential of one of VIP’s newest signed acts, Dayz Rich.

The two were introduced to each other by boxer Austin Trout and VIP signed him—it’s been a happy marriage ever since. Dayz Rich, has completed three singles with producers Dj Fresh, The Avengerz and Andre on the Beat that will be dropping soon.
Dayz Rich is a mover and a shaker. He created a buzz on the internet on platforms like Soundcloud, Facebook and Twitter and as a result, his content and genuine persona got him signed. He’s beyond ecstatic for the release of his album, The State of Art EP, slated to release under VIP Music. “Since business comes first, I learned and built my music off an economical platform and transformed the way the average artist does business,” Dayz Rich told The Source.
Moreira is just glad he signed him before another label did: “Several other interested people have shown interest in him,” said Moreira. “His story has caught the attention of boxers, NASCAR, artists and labels so that’s a good reason to build a story about him.”
“So he is not just providing to the label good material. He is also providing to the label the exposure we need.”
Dayz Rich is one of many talents on VIP Music. They’ve also got other acts like King Krucial, Gwap Getta Music, Jacob Sunday, HypeSir, B Double E, Finesse, J Bravo, IncWell, DJ Young Dre, DJ Wats, and DJ RO. These emerging artists are also a part of the upcoming #VIP2K14 tour. They will be touring in Canada for over a month.
