Batman: Arkham Knight takes place a year following Batman: Arkham City with the Dark Knight coming to grips with the apparent death of his long time arch-nemesis The Joker.  Scarecrow is now in control of Gotham City with his voice threatening the civilians to “abandon the city, or I will unleash your greatest fears” using his newly concocted scare toxins. Two-Face, Penguin and Harley Quinn all seek to combine efforts to kill Dark Knight once and for all with a new mystery villain “Arkham Knight” joining the cause as well. Luckily for Batman, he’s not alone this time.

The Batmobile will act as a sidekick to Batman and be a focal point of Batman: Arkham Knight’s gameplay. Not only will it be drivable but, Batman will have the ability to summon it to his location to provide cover fire and protection. Yes, we all were hoping for Robin or Nightwing to finally be added as a playable character in the storyline, but the gameplay trailer proves Batman and the Batmobile are perfect dynamic duo.
