After letting a few singles and videos loose, the two New York emcees, Skyzoo and Torae, have finally released their much anticipated collaborative project, Barrel Brothers. The cold bars are delivered by the ton, as each channels their hometowns style to the fullest. Oh No, Illmind, Jahlil Beats, The Stuyvesants, and the rest of the producers provide the perfect gritty, dusty sample based backdrop for the pair to demolish. If you haven’t heard either of these two rappers before, you have a lot of homework to catch up on, but this project would definitely be the best place to start.
