The Gangs All Back Together
When the announcement was made earlier this fall that Dave Chappelle would be headlining a number of June comedy dates at New York’s famed Radio City Music Hall, many viewed it as the potential return of the entertainer who once ruled the world of comedy and entertainment. Now comes the news that Chapelle will be adding a number of additional dates to the residency, extending his full stay to June 18th-26 (with only the 23rd off), with a few major differences!
With a full orchestra in tow different musical guests like The Roots, Erykah Badu, Busta Rhymes, DJ Premier and Janelle Monae will join the comedian. The connection to 2005’s Dave Chapelle Block Party , where Chapelle handled hosting duties and some well placed one liners, while a bunch of his friends, including The Roots , Badu, Kanye West and more performed , has been brought up but theres no specific details on whether the shows will take the same format.
Tickets are still available for the upcoming Chappelle’s solo shows HERE. The presale (for American Express Card Members) for his performances featuring musical guests is May 29 and June 2 for everyone else public.
