Looooord haaave mercy

How can hip-hop be dead if Yasiin Bey is still living? The Brooklyn MC, who was recently banned from the USA, linked with New Orleans beat-smith Mannie Fresh for the feel good track, “Let’s Go.” Over the NOLA boy’s cajun-styled backdrop, Yasiin drops food for thought as he raps:

Overdose I’m over woke, be awake from crunch time
Be everywhere like sunshine
Leap right across, punchline
I beat the track, I beat the track, but I don’t pay for breakfast
Lunch time
Dinner date, desert tray, Ramadan
Flow hungry, you see the sign between the line

After being in the rap game for nearly two decades, Yasiin’s clever and inspiring rhymes on “Let’s Go,” which is vacation from the trap rap that’s flooding the rap, proves that the veteran MC can spit with the younins’. The song is a single from Bey’s and Mannie Fresh’s highly anticipated OMFGOD album.
