50’s For Breakast
This past Friday (5/30) 50 cent returned to The Breakfast Club to chat with Angela Yee, Charlamagne The God & DJ Envy. You may remember 50’s last appearance was on the day that the show went live on Revolt TV. I’ve said it a million times, even recently to the man himself when I had the opportunity to interview him about his new tv show Power but; 50 CENT IS THE BEST INTERVIEW IN HIP HOP.

:30 – They talk about “the pitch” , said he was too focused on throwing it hard and a strike. 50 maintains it wasn’t a fake promotional stunt.
1:50 – He flipped Charlamangne saying “white people will always love you because of ” In The Club” into an opportunity to promote the now infamous “Cuffin Season” remix with Fabolous (that was the song on during the chain snatching at Summer Jam). Goes on to say Fab didn’t want that as a single, he encouraged him.
3:40 – Mayweather vs TI incident, said he already knew something was up with TI and the Tiny situation. “I dont know that he connected [on the punch], the fact that he threw it is good enough, give him credit”
5:20- Ain’t nobody weighing 150 that gets hit by me that ain’t seeing triple
5:40 Makes the point that TI is really close with Nelly, and that this is now the second girl Nelly messed with that was once Floyd’s (Melissa his first baby mother, and now Miss Jackson)
6:30 – Although they don’t talk at all, he has no hatred for Floyd, he loves him like a little brother.
7:30 – Says some generic shit about the Beats Music Apple deal and Beats By Dre
11:00 – In response to Charlamagne saying we don’t even care about you or Jay or Puffy making records, 50 said “Diddy aint had a hit in years”, but somehow the comment didn’t sound like a shot.
13:00 – 50 never tried to bang Ashanti back in the day he did like her recent IG photo
13:40 – I love all of them [G-Unit] like little brothers, Buck is impulsive.
15:00 – When asked about Buck’s lyrics about a reunion, 50 adeptly deflected saying “yea i heard that” and then starts talking about something somewhat related.
17:00 Although a G-Unit reunion is not out of the question (duh) The Game will never happen because he doesn’t understand it (The Game).
18:00 Doesn’t think about marriage, because it’s expensive.
19:45 – Troy Ave talk, when asked he says the more he hears him the more he hears himself. It seems like he has a lot to say about Troy but just doesn’t want to crush him.
23:00 – Talks about why you’ll NEVER hear him talk ill of Eminem. It’s crazy be because he get’s legitimately emotional about their relationship because of the chance that Eminem took on him, he considers him the way he thinks about his grandparents, I think i see a tear.
25:00 – Talks about his help on Game’s first album, how that material was his second album things like the personal nature of “Hate It Or Love It”.
26:30 Women run hip hop, because of the clubs
28:00 On whether he was ever in love he admits a few times, including his time with Ciara, saying they broke up just because of time.
32:00 Talks about his tweet ” Sha Money ran out like the road runner” and then took the tweet down.
34:00 – He feels “he cant do good” sales wise, compared to his history.
36:00 – Solange Incident, “I probably would of fucked her up”
37:00 – He tells a story about a time when Beyonce legitimately ran up on him while he was with Floyd Mayweather in Vegas at the Cosmopolitan Hotel because she thought 50 & Jay Z had beef, Jay sat and laughed , “Bonnie & Clyde for real boy”. 50 was introducing him to Jay because he doesn’t like Floyd.
38:40 – Is Steve Stout a culture robber? Not really, although he didn’t like a lot of their interactions.
42:30 – He’ll be announcing the release date for Stree King Immortal street date.
44:30 – When told Mos Def wasnt able to get into the country, 50 seemed very interested saying “hmm I might could get him cheap”,
