Saying that Macklemore & Ryan Lewis had a big year in 2013 would be an understatement; they dominated almost every aspect of the game, which led to the emcee finding himself on our “Man of the Year” cover. While Macklemore has been showered in public praise and has his face plastered on significant number of outlets, the man behind their sound has mostly found himself out of the limelight. For those not into the full hip hop experience, Ryan Lewis might just be the second member of the group and added on; few know what he does.
Jimmy Fallon, in a hilarious segment for his The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon show, decided to have the musician ask unsuspecting people on the street whether they know what he actually contributes to the crew—the answers are hilarious. Most have no clue who he is or what he actually does, but they all know of him. He takes it in stride and shocks them when he reveals himself. Check out the video below.
