Hip-Hop is mourning the death of Cali Swag district member JayAre this weekend.
Inglewood, California Cali Swag District member JayAre died this past Friday at the age of 25.
According to MTV News, the MC, whose real name is Cahron Childs, suffered from sickle cell anemia and died from cardiac arrest. Twitter has been streaming with shout outs for the beloved MC since his death. JayAre’s fellow Cali Swag District MC member Smoove Da General” Fowler JayAre’s took to twitter friday night twee”Sickle cell took my brother away from me today,” “With that being said I’m proud to know that with that disease he made the best of his life.”
Cali Swag District dropped a new mixtape in January 2014 titled The District with features from Waka Flaka Flame, Ty Dolla $ign, Nipsey Hussle and Skeme.
