And the feud over Rihanna continues, or nah?
We reported yesterday on some of the attendees of Maxim’s Hot 100 party that took place earlier this week. Guests included Nas, Vin Diesel, T.I. and, wait for it… Drake and Chris Brown.
Around 12:15 AM, Drake arrived to the event but didn’t stay long. He hung out for a bit with T.I. and others and the now free, Chris Brown arrived minutes later. Apparently the story is that once Drake found out that Chris Brown was there, he left the building. An eyewitness reported that he didn’t want to be there with Chris in the building. No word yet on whether or not Chris knew of Drake being there or leaving.
Last year in an interview with GQ, Drake had this to say about the past incident with Chris:
“I’m not confrontational, but if someone challenges, I’m not going to back down. It’s embarrassing, the amount of media coverage…Two rappers fighting over the woman. He’s not even a rapper, but still, it’s the last way you want your name out there. It distracts from the music. But he’s made me the enemy, and that’s the way it’s gonna stay, I guess.”
As everyone knows, its not a good idea for the two to be in the same party especially now that their unspoken beef has reached a new height with Drake dating Chris’ ex, Rihanna. We’re proud of Drake from removing himself but maybe the two can make up now that allegedly he and Rihanna are old news and Chris is now happy with Karrueche Tran. Hopefully the two can put the past behind them and make some music together again. Yes, again… heres a clip to refresh your memory.
