Who would’ve thought that in 2014, we’d be pointing the finger at Justin Bieber and Chris Brown, and calling them The Bad Boys Of Pop? That’s what’s happening here, but we can’t honestly say that we’re suffering from it, musically. Both CB & JB are at the top of their games, and they’re about to join forces.
We know Chris Brown’s new album, X, has been struggling to come out due to his numerous legal issues–the thing has been pushed back a total of 6 times since last fall…6!–and Justin Bieber has been in and out of hot water more times than we care to remember–including his potentially fatal racist videos that were leaked to TMZ, and subsequently the internet–but it appears both superstars are on a mission to get their sh*t together, and with Chris tearing the charts up while in jail (“Loyal”), and Justin Bieber with a batch of relatively fresh jams on the airwaves (Journals), its the perfect time for them to attempt to recapture the magic. We’re looking forward to this one.
